David Deaton

Senior VP of Engineering

As Senior VP of Engineering, David Deaton oversees the engineering teams that develop and maintain the services platforms across the BCM One family of brands, as well as the corporate IT team. He is responsible for ensuring that all networks and software systems consistently deliver highly reliable and secure service for BCM One customers.

Prior to joining BCM One, Deaton was Executive Vice President of Products & Services at Sangoma where he was responsible for global product development and cloud services, including Engineering, Product Management, IT, and Operations departments. Deaton came to Sangoma through its acquisition of Digium, where he held VP of Engineering and VP of Product roles, and he successfully led the post-acquisition integration of product strategy and the engineering teams across Sangoma and Digium.

Deaton has held engineering leadership positions at several companies from start-ups to enterprise, including Nokia, DiscoveryCom, and ADTRAN. Deaton holds a BSEE from Mississippi State University.
