What You Will Do:

• Design and implement deployment environments for new/existing platforms, projects, testing suites.
• Investigate, test, and implement best practices surrounding architecture, usability, performance, and security.
• Work with Operations teams to design and implement deployment environments for testing suites on new/existing projects.
• Investigate, test, and implement best practices surrounding architecture, usability, performance, and security.
• Stay abreast of current best practices surrounding development and operations.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to enhance platforms while providing support to team members when they need help with deployments, setting up local developments, and testing.
• Work and think critically as a team with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Act as a tier 3 resource for supporting internal issues and questions relating to areas of expertise.

What We Are Looking For: 

• 7+ year’s experience with CI/CD, preferably in a Gitlab environment.
• A strong understanding of how to use Docker for more good than harm.
• 7+ years’ experience with Postgres or MySQL.
• 7+ years’ experience in managing Linux-based systems via CLI.
• 3+ years’ experience in Python.
• Familiarity with web development (PHP preferred).
• Ability to lead projects or teams in development initiatives.
• Excellent written communication skills that are clear and concise.
• Commitment to completing tasks assigned and creating accurate documentation.
• Ability to follow established procedures and constructively question when necessary.
• Work independently with minimal oversight.
