Product Marketing Manager

As the Product Marketing Manager, you enhance profitable revenue by assisting with the promotion of the product portfolio to cross-functional Sales and Marketing teams. You combine your enthusiasm for technology with your knowledge of client needs to craft powerful product positioning that will be integrated with current messaging and marketing programs. You maximize sales efforts by contributing to client communication plans on product updates.

    You promote products throughout the organization by collaborating with senior leaders across the organization to incorporate targeted strategies. You have a keen ability for identifying roadblocks and overcoming obstacles to increase efficiencies across the broader marketing organization. You successfully complete projects through decisive leadership and the coordination of internal and external resources. You report directly to the Director of Product Marketing for goals, guidance, and assistance.

    What You Will Do

    • Overall manage the Product Lifecycle for BCM One core products including UCaaS, SD-WAN and SASE
    • Research the current market through communication with internal and external research groups, industry organizations and other expert sources.
    • Develop competitive positioning 
    • Develop the buyer’s journey for our core products 
    • Address gaps we have with our core products compared to competition and work with Director of Product Marketing to recommend product enhancements
    • Drive revenue by assisting with the development, maintenance and communication of marketing programs for all products, offers and geographic areas.
    • Involved in discussions with integration of products from future BCM One acquisitions
    • Encourage company-wide success through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
    • Achieve marketing objectives by partnering with cross-functional teams to manage multiple marketing functions from ideation through reporting, including marketing campaigns, lead generation, marketing operations and analysis, marketing technologies, client lifecycle management and brand and content test cycles.
    • Perform additional duties related the position as assigned.

    Required Keys for Success

    • Five or more years of product marketing or management experience with strong knowledge of the telecom industry.  Added plus if you have experience specifically in UCaaS, SD-WAN and/or SASE.   
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in deliverables.
    • Prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to support all phases of a large project from beginning to end.
    • Ability to work with all levels of an organization, different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience.
    • History of showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties and resolve issues while working under pressure.
    • Proven ability to maintain company and client confidentiality.
    • Track record of analyzing and interpreting data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise.
    • Detail-oriented balanced with the ability to think strategically.
    • Highly developed capacity for teamwork with the ability to foster and manage change.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
