IT Support Specialist

We are looking for an internal IT support specialist who can help support and manage the IT needs of our newly distributed workforce. This position will report to the Manager of IT Operations and be part of a larger IT department.

    Primary responsibilities are internal desktop and video support, as well as provisioning users on SaaS applications like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce.com, Hubspot, and other related applications. We are a fast-growing company and there are many opportunities to contribute to the success of our team.

    What you will do:

    • Be part of a team that will provide first level helpdesk support for onsite and remote employees and contractor/ consultants.
    • Manage software applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce.com, and Hubspot.
    • Support all internal physical and virtual AV equipment 
    • Directly involved in the deployment, repair, replacement, disposal, and inventory management of Employee or related computing and telephony equipment
    • Assist in hardware roll-outs including communication to employees and/or end users.
    • Assist with maintenance of daily operation of PC/LAN/WAN OSX network and telecommunication systems. Combination of both MacOS and Microsoft Windows. 
    • Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executables, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans

    What you will need:

    • 5+ years supporting advanced computer software/hardware in a LAN/WAN environment
    • Industry standard certifications a plus but not required
    • Excellent customer service, communication, organization, documentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Accurate inventory documentation and tracking of hardware and software.
    • Support Audio/Visual needs for office meeting spaces
    • Expertise with MacOS and Microsoft Windows based operating systems
    • Expertise supporting enterprise application like Slack, Confluence, JIRA
    • Familiarity with Google Workplace and Microsoft 365 applications
    • Familiarity with one or more commonly used IT/desktop support tools (Splash Top, GoTo Assist, etc.)
    • Familiarity MAC Device Management platforms (Kandji, Addigy, etc.)
    • Ability to work independently in a high growth environment
    • Effectively communicate issues or resolutions to internal employees
    • Strong learning, problem solving and analytical skills
