Client Relationship Manager

BCM One is seeking entry-level candidates for its growing Client Relationship team to actively manage a base of assigned accounts. The ideal candidate, for this in-house sales position, is a motivated self-starter with an acute attention to detail who can serve as a polished customer-facing representative for the company.

    The Client Relationship Manager will be the primary contact for BCM One’s base of customers which primarily are small-to-mid sized companies serving various vertical markets. The ideal candidate must be personable and possess good communications skills to manage the base of accounts, renew existing contracts, upsell additional services and broaden our share of clients’ telecommunications spend.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES include the following:

    The Primary responsibilities for the Client Relationship Manager include actively managing an existing base of assigned accounts by speaking and meeting with customer contacts regularly with the goal of renewing existing contracts, and up-selling beyond those existing services and broadening our share of the client’s telecommunications spend.

    A successful Client Relationship Manager is one who is viewed as the single point of contact by their clients for all their telecom needs and is personable, presentable and has a willingness to learn about the telecommunications industry

    Primary Responsibilities / Duties:

    • Reach out to all clients within individual base, with quarterly business reviews
    • Create inventories of carrier services for all existing clients within their base.
    • Create proposals for both renewals of service and potential new services.
    • Input of all pricing into pricing tool for approval and paperwork.
    • Audit and optimization of telecom invoices. 
    • First bill review for all new services within their base of clients. 
    • Open any billing disputes/credit requests on behalf of clients
    • Provide updated contact information for all clients in OSS system. 
    • Manage customer’s contracts within their base to renew all upcoming agreements.
    • Escalate all trouble and provisioning issues on behalf of clients.
    • Consult on telecom projects for clients, i.e. moves, migration to new technology, etc. 

    Goals:

    • 100% retention of assigned accounts
    • New sales within the base
    • Quota retainment includes number for new sales and number for renewals 
    • Bi-annual Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity review 
      • Sales Engineer should be present at these meetings.
      • Can be performed during quarterly review, if needed. 
    • Bi-monthly (twice a month) educational material distributed to base
    • Migration strategy from legacy services to next generation technologies
    • Keep accurate statists of all accounts, including but not limited to IT vendor, PBX vendor, employee count, location count, etc. 
    • Recognize opportunities within the account, and broker and introduction to the appropriate engineer 

    Compensation:

    • Client Relationship Manager is eligible for upfront commissions on a monthly manner based on renewal and new sales. 

    Required Skills

    • Ability to learn technical information from various carriers and services.
    • Ability to apply this knowledge in daily situations and make appropriate recommendations.
    • Ability to analysis and break down telecom invoices.
    • Ability to navigate within different OSS and CRM modules.   
    • Strong phone skills for setting appointments.
    • Confidence while speaking to clients.
    • Ability to create relationships with clients and become trusted advisors.

    Recommended Additional Skills or Qualifications

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, Smart Draw
    • Strong Interpersonal and Presentation skills
