Eileen Cohan

General Counsel

Eileen Cohan joined BCM One in 2012 as Staff Attorney, bringing two decades of commercial law experience to the company with a primary focus on contracts. Since then, with BCM One’s exponential growth as the company scaled from fewer than 100 employees to more than 500, she was promoted to General Counsel and her role expanded to include legal diligence for all acquisitions and transactions. Today, in addition to commercial matters and managing the legal aspects of the company’s M&A activity, Cohan oversees risk and compliance across the entire family of BCM One brands. She manages the teams responsible for employment and labor law policy, privacy and information security policy, risk assessment, contract negotiation and review, regulatory compliance, and tax.

Prior to joining BCM One, Cohan was a Staff Attorney and Bar Exam tutor at Pieper Bar Review, and an Adjunct Law Professor at the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra University. She also spent more than a decade as an Associate at Rivkin Radler LLP. Cohan received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University.
